About Sarah
Hello, I’m Sarah Lyons Body Confidence and Image Consultant, my mission is to help women, like you, with all aspects of your personal style, body confidence, and overall well-being. Helping you live your most fabulous life.
I can help you get great body confidence without having to change your body, create your signature style and start looking after your well-being. Life can be so busy and as women, we often forget about ourselves. I know all too well about losing my identity and feeling bad about myself. I let my light go out for a while and struggled with post-natal depression for many years so that is why I am so passionate about helping others shine bright.
My story
After I had my two girls I was facing a lot of challenges. Motherhood was tougher than I expected! Life had changed, my body had changed and I was questioning what I really wanted out of life. And while I’d love to wake up every morning and dress like a 1950s Dior model it just doesn’t fit with my new lifestyle. I loved being a mum but I also wanted a career and I felt very unsure of my direction.
Having been a young entrepreneur in my teen years, (I sold my chocolate biscuit cake in the Galway market every Saturday!) I took the opportunity while at home to start a company with my sister, it was a bridal accessory online shop called The Parisian Bride. I poured my heart and soul into that business but for little return.
One of the biggest reasons it was not a success was the fact I didn’t really believe in myself or what I was selling, the fact that I love jewellery and accessories didn’t mean that I loved selling them. It took a lot of time and money to figure out it wasn’t going to work but I learned a whole lot about myself and about being a business owner. I realized that I needed to get my groove back and really find what I was passionate about.

I figured out what I needed…
My interest in fashion and styling led me to train as an image consultant. The legendary Joan Cashman from the Colour and Image Academy has given me the skills and confidence to help my clients rediscover their inner style queen! When you look good you feel good.
After about two years of working as a personal stylist, I discovered that many women didn’t like their bodies and had very little confidence in themselves. I felt I didn’t have the necessary skills to help so I looked for a course that could help me help my clients. When I found the institute for body confidence coaching I knew this new type of coaching would be of fantastic benefit to all my clients. Little did I know that completing this work for myself would change my life.

Believing in myself was the first thing I sorted out, after all the changes in my life I had lost my identity and some of my sparkle. Having waited a long time for someone to help me I figured out I was the only person who could change the way I felt. Reconnecting to my body and myself has transformed my life. Changing the way I felt about myself and my body has led me to develop a positive body image, ditch all the fad dieting I was doing, and grow to accept myself for who I really am, confident, sexy, and ambitious.
Becoming a body confidence and wellbeing coach has added another element and given me skills I wished I had when I first became a mother. From my own story and experience, I can help other women live a wonderful fulfilled life with my combination of body confidence and image consulting.

In March 2022 I became a Heal Your life teacher and workshop leader. This work is based on the philosophies of Louise Hay. I had always been drawn to her teachings and now I have the privilege of sharing them with all of my clients. This adds a more spiritual layer to my work and helps me support my clients with love and compassion.
With my background working in pharmacies, I’m used to giving advice to people when they’re not feeling their best. I bring the same listening skills and empathy to working with clients who want to feel more confident when it comes to getting dressed and shining bright in their life.
My Shine Bright experience brings all of this together offering you the opportunity of working on yourself and looking great.
Below is one of my favorite paragraphs from Marianne Williamson
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
